Today we head to Auckland in New Zealand for a beautiful summer wedding! Olga and Zydon met in 2012 and both lived in separate countries, but not even that could stop them from being together. They pulled their wedding together in 2 weeks! That’s possibly the quickest we’ve heard of a wedding put together in!
Thank you to Olga Levien of Levien & Lens Photography for submitting this beautiful wedding to us. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Your love story
Olga – “We were introduced by our mutual friend in April 2012 who brought him to Longroom. Zydon liked me from day one, but I was hard to get. His patience paid off and we started dating.”
“On 31st December 2014, we had been travelling from Canberra to Melbourne to celebrate New Years with our family. Zydon wanted to surprise me by proposing before we arrive in Melbourne and had made numerous attempts, however, unfortunately, life is very unpredictable and not everything can go to plan.”
“Once we arrived in Melbourne, Zydon lost his patience, stood on one knee and proposed to me at home. It was very romantic and I did not expect it!”
What did you both wear?
“Zydon wore navy lace suit and Olga wore an ivory lace dress.”
What venue did you choose?
“Parnell on the rose garden because it had a large beautiful garden with varieties of roses plus a view of the sea.”
Was the day how you imagined?
“The wedding was a success with great entertainment and beautiful speeches. We would like to thank all of our family and friends, who attended on that day to share our love and without them, this day wouldn’t happen.”
What advice would you give to other couples?
“Planning a wedding in less than 2 weeks turned out to be the best time of our life! Our advice is to invite the people that really are close to you because they will make your special day worth remembering.”
