Today we head out into the autumn sun and discover Elisabeth and Drew’s beautiful outdoor wedding at The Social Goat B&B. The style is rustic which matches the environment perfectly, plus an appearance of goat! What other venue has that? So cool!
Thank you to Renee of TSE Gallery Photography for sharing this with us. Renee said, “Elisabeth and Drew’s wedding was held at a very unique venue. They found The Social Goat B&B when Elisabeth’s mom invited them on a candle-lit home tour of Grant Park, Atlanta. The Bed & Breakfast was one of the stops on the tour and they immediately fell in love. They decided that night that they wanted to be married there one day. It is not your average wedding venue. They loved the low key, open outdoorsy environment. The home is gorgeous inside and out and the owners go above and beyond to keep you smiling… and, you got to include a goat to be a part of your wedding portraits!
Elisabeth and Drew met through mutual friends. After a couple of years seeing each other out at parties, they finally set up a night of drinks and dancing at Eclipse di Luna. He asked for her number and the rest is history! It seemed so natural from the beginning. They shared the same sense of humor, closeness to their families and love for their pups, Mama and Cali.
It was January of 2016 when they had planned one of their many trips to Asheville to meet some of their family from Raleigh. This was their meeting point. They spent Friday night drinking and dancing, as they did the first night they met. Woke up the next day to head out to Chimney Rock for a morning hike. After the night before it was a rough hike so it was completely unexpected when he turned on one of their favorite songs and got down on one knee. Of course, she said yes! They shared their moment before rushing back into the city to catch the 12 PM UNC game. Proposal or not, they do not miss Carolina games! As they walked into the bar, he had invited all of their local family to Asheville to surprise Elisabeth & join them in celebration. As if the day wasn’t perfect already! He put a lot of thought into the day and Elisabeth couldn’t ask for a better way to start the next phase of their lives!”
