If you’re a regular follower of the blog, you’ll notice we love unique venues. Something which is different or in a former life was far from a wedding venue. Today we’re very excited to feature the wedding of Toni and Aaron at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, a converted warehouse in Stanley Dock.
From the bride, Toni: “We met and married in under a year, after a totally surprising proposal at Terminal 3 Heathrow Airport in London. I guess at 40 and 38 respectively, when you know, you just know!
Our Wedding was Winter wedding with a distinctive quirky and vintage twist, with a venue to suit, the glamorous and unique Titanic Hotel at Stanley Dock in Liverpool. It suited us both perfectly and we were amazed that planning it in 5 months, we were able to pull it off so well!
I love old school glamour and Hollywood, so we took that as our theme. We had lots of references and touches to our love of Vintage Hollywood style movies (including my beautiful Catherine Parry 50’s inspired dress) like Baz Luhrmann The Great Gatsby, but mixed with 1950s High Society. Our table names were our favourite movie and vintage icons. It was essentially Glamorous and we asked our guests on our invitations to dress in “Elegant Eveningwear”. We wanted a traditional and elegant wedding, but with a vintage and unique twist.”
