Very excited to share this wedding with you today! This is the lovely intimate wedding of Bonni and Ali. Pulled together in just a month (wow), this wedding is all about love and commitment. With a small official ceremony, followed by a larger “mock” ceremony with their friends and family, what a great idea! Are you planning on having a small guest list? Let us know in the comments below!
Thank you to Jay Farrell Photography for sharing Bonnie and Ali’s day with us. He said, “I met Bonnie and Ali before Thanksgiving to discuss their wedding photography. They initially planned to get married in October 2017. However, after the presidential election results, they decided to bump it back to New Year’s Eve. So they planned a lovely and intimate East Nashville LGBT wedding that they had just a month to put together!
We went location to the home of the wonderful Nashville Mayor, Megan Barry. She agreed to officiate the official nuptials very graciously, a month prior! Only the immediate family were able to attend. Then the location of the mock ceremony for all guests, and the reception were at their friend’s lovely East Nashville home. Very elegant and intimate event, and a full house. From chauffeuring in a classic Jaguar, the mayor, and personal chefs, it was a lovely time. Drizzle rain all day didn’t put a damper on anything, in fact, I think it was a nice seasoning.”
