Get ready for some summer wedding inspiration! This is the beautiful wedding of Stephanie and Zak who tied the knot on July 1st, 2016 at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. We’re loving the modern styling throughout, from the gorgeous gown to the bouquet and of course the groomsmen in grey. The day was perfectly captured by Jessica Osber Photography, thank you for sharing with us!
From the bride Stephanie, “Zak and I met for the first time in 6th grade. We became close friends sophomore year of high school, when both of our groups of friends melded into one. We were best friends for the rest of high school and finally began dating at the very end of high school.
Zak went to UVM for his freshman year of college and then transfered to UConn. I was at Northeastern University in Boston. We both moved home after that and he got his law degree at UConn law while I got my Master’s in elementary education. We were dating for over 8 years and are very excited to finally be married!
Zak had been doing some woodworking projects with his grandfather. He had made two night stands for our bedroom and since March of this year was working on a ‘secret project’. It turns out that secret project was a beautiful jewelry box that he used to propose! We had the box incorporated into the wedding because it is so beautiful and thoughtful. We were also married by Judge Janet C. Hall. She is the chief federal judge for United States District of Connecticut. Zak worked for her as a clerk down in New Haven and we were very excited to have her as part of our wedding.”
