Planning a wedding in the countryside? Looking for a simple yet elegant decor style? The wedding of Jamie and Sawyer at Sun Dance Farm in Tennessee will be plenty of inspiration! The colour palette is neutral with beautiful touches throughout. We love those sparklers and favours!!
From the photographer, Amanda May Photos, “This couple has been together for a very long time… they were high school sweethearts. Their proposal story is one of my favorites! Sawyer is a volunteer firefighter for the city of Seymour. Every Christmas Eve, the Seymour fire department drives Santa around the city on a fire truck and hands out candy/presents to kids who come outside to wave to him. Well, they stopped in front of Jamie’s house and Santa went and knocked on the door. When Jamie answered he said he had a special present for her. He guided her outside to the fire truck where Sawyer was waiting and got down on one knee. Because this whole Santa thing is a big deal, the local news channel follows him around and actually filmed the proposal as part of that year’s Christmas Eve story. So the couple has a professionally recorded and documented version of their proposal!
On their wedding day, they chose to get married at a venue called Sun Dance Farm and Event Center in Knoxville. The ceremony takes place outside and the reception is under a white tent that extends out the back of the stables. Jamie and Sawyer had so many decorations and antiques and hand written signs around the reception tent. The focus of this wedding was definitely all the little details they had set up everywhere! It was gorgeous!”
