One of our favourite things at UWD is when the team have an opportunity to get out for the day and join fellow industry professionals for some creative fun! Bucks County Museum Trust in Aylesbury is opening its doors for weddings in Spring 2018. To celebrate we got together with Rukminder Makin, Commercial Manager for the Museum (also Business Development Manager for the Buckinghamshire Registration Service) and some wonderful wedding colleagues to show couples how their day could be here.
The museum is home to one of only six Cubitt cars in existence and this 1922 model joined in the day! The wreckage of the three-litre engine car, which is now the only Cubitt in the world to be on public display, was discovered in the Australian outback in the 1970s by a Buckinghamshire man touring the country. He lovingly restored it and it is now housed at the museum.
Huge thank you’s to Sally (Floral Vintage Crockery), Rhea (Floral Creations, Flowers), Dean (Harrisons Jewellers, all things bling), Jo (24a, stationery), Kelly (Marlow Marquees, gorgeous chairs & tables), Taniece (Hire Heaven, venue decor), Catering Linen Hire (table linen) and Kristina (Penn Wedding Cakes – oh the cake!) and obviously to the museum for being such wonderful hosts. Enjoy these fabulous images of the day and see for yourself what your ceremony in the Georgian room could look like, plus the fabulous hall!
