Roof terrace venues

Roof terraces offer fabulous views of the local area and can be bathed in sun (when it's shining of course). This is why they make great wedding venue spaces! Whether you use the terrace for your ceremony or your reception, a roof terrace can be transformed into a unique setting for your big day.

RIBA Roof Terrace, London

Situated between the tranquillity of Regents Park and the buzz of Oxford Circus, the rooms at RIBA Venues create an oasis of light and allow an easy flow of guests around the building. With three terraces and fantastic views of London's skyline, the venue offers spectacular, highly-desirable outdoor space while proudly representing the best of British architecture.

The Florence Hall Terrace, which is adjacent to Florence Hall on the first floor, was redesigned by Dan Pearson Studios and relaunched in the summer of 2010. The magnificent Florence Hall was named after Henry Florence, the architect who designed Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket. The terrace includes ornamental planting and living walls and provides a lush green counterpoint to the architecture of 66 Portland Place.

The 4th-floor roof terrace can also be hired for weddings in conjunction with the Council Chamber and 4th-floor landing as a wet weather plan. It offers a drinks reception area for up to 80 guests. Additionally, the terrace can be hired as part of RIBA’s summer packages and is ideal for wedding drinks receptions.
