As we move into summer and festival styled weddings become popular, this photo shoot is perfect to gain inspiration from. With the colourful style, beautiful flowers and warm sunshine, a bohemian styled wedding is ideal for the summer months.
Photographed by Darillyn of db Photogprahy as part of one of her quarterly Photography Guild Education group meetings, which takes place in Southern Utah. Darillyn explains a bit more about this specific photo shoot:
“For this quarter, I asked Miyala to be our model for a styled shoot because I love working with her; Miyala is professional, kind, humble, and stunning.
I asked her to help me pick a theme for our shoot. Miyala wanted to include her boyfriend, Bryce, and felt that a Bohemian look would fit their “vibe” so we moved forward in that direction.
Miyala took the reins with the inspiration and together we gathered incredible vendors. We invited M&S Turquoise, a local jewelry shop that specializes in unique jewelry and design. We asked Jocelyn’s Floral because she is among the best of the absolute best in flower arrangements big and small. We included Danielle Emett for hair and makeup which turned out beautifully and the local Navajo tribe allowed us to shoot on their private property located in Anasazi Valley. To pull everything together, Miyala found Valerie Bancroft to provide our decor and design and she knocked it out of the park!
The shoot had an authentic flare to Miyala’s Navajo roots and stayed true to the Bohemian nature they wanted to come through in their session. Every vendor that participated went above and beyond to create the “perfect storm” for photographs. This shoot was truly a team effort and a fantastic end result!”
