Down Hall, Essex

Dating back to 1322, the impressive mansion has been home to artists, lords and baronets who’ve all influenced the flamboyant Italianate style, think crystal chandeliers, coffered and gilded high ceilings and opulent fabrics. Down Hall is renowned for hosting stunning weddings, which have received the stamp of approval from celebrities on more than one occasion. With a variety of banqueting rooms with panoramic views over the beautiful gardens, Down Hall caters for the most elegant of ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions. Meldrum House, Aberdeenshire
Meldrum House is a luxury 13th-century country house hotel set on 240 acres of a private estate in the Aberdeenshire countryside.
Offering bespoke weddings, the hotel has the flexibility to cater for intimate wedding ceremonies in their beautifully converted stables for up to 100 guests. For larger and more lavish affairs, the ballroom is the perfect location for up to 200 guests. This space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the room with light and offering a view of the golf course and countryside. The outdoor terrace is the perfect place for guests to enjoy drinks with access to the gardens.
Meldrum House has opened its new extension in recent years which complements the original historical building. Adding a further 28 new bedrooms. Bedrooms can be booked for your guests to stay after the big day.
Roch Castle, Pembrokeshire
What could be more romantic than celebrating your special day in the intimate setting of the luxurious Roch Castle on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast of Wales.
