Concorde at Runway Visitor Park, Manchester

Located at the Runway Visitor Park next to Manchester Airport’s runways, couples can get married under the world’s first supersonic airliner.

G-BOAC was British Airways’ flagship Concorde until it retired in 2003 and now sits in a spacious hangar that is a blank canvas for those looking to decorate a venue how they wish.

The hangar can accommodate up to 750 guests and is fully licensed for civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. The team at the Runway Visitor Park will offer a dedicated coordinator to help plan the details of your perfect day.

The Runway Visitor Park offers a number of packages for couples and there is a wide range of menu options available to choose from. For those with a passion for aviation, there’s no better place to tie the knot!

Kent Life Farm Park, Kent

Kent Life Heritage Farm Park is a unique venue set on 28 acres – the perfect setting for a romantic wedding ceremony, reception or party with a difference.

The award-winning attraction is home to a hop garden, orchards and period buildings that your guests are free to explore – including a World War II cottage, Victorian farmhouse, 1950s home, oast houses and many other traditional farm buildings.

Guests can even meet the farm animals and there’s a Cuddle Corner where the young ones can pet some of Kent Life’s smaller animals. There’s also an outdoor adventure area and indoor soft play barn to keep them amused.

Say ‘I do’ in the authentic wartime village hall, the pretty pink 19th-century chapel, or maybe the waggon store.

Add a quirky touch by travelling in Kent Life’s tractor and trailer or land train; hiring an old-fashioned sweetie bicycle or a vintage china tea set for a retro touch; or surprising guests with a cheese tower cake decorated with vines, grapes, ivy and figs. You could even entertain guests with ferret racing, lamb feeding or tug-of-war!
